Shoes, Walkers & a Lot More - 1.888.738.7929

If you are on Medicare and have diabetes there is a benefit that may entitle you to a new pair of shoes once a year at little or no cost to you.

A common side effect of diabetes is "peripheral neuropathy," which causes loss of sensation in the extremities. Ill-fitting shoes, which rub or pinch the feet, can lead to ulceration and foot injury, simply because people with diabetes do not feel the injury until it is too late. Properly fitted diabetic shoes are very important in preventing such injuries.

Medicare Supplier Standards

AT DMS Health Solutions, we provide only quality made shoes that are wider and deeper than regular shoes, allowing room for special pedorthic insoles. Our trained professionals will custom fit these special insoles to your feet. This ensures proper fit and minimizes rubbing and uneven weight distribution, preventing injury. Our shoes also provide good air circulation, ample toe room, and have ties or Velcro straps on the top, making them easier to get on and off.

What Medicare Covers

Everyone's feet are different. DMS Health Solutions now has I-Step technology. The I-Step scans & accurately analyzes the bottom of your feet, allowing us to give you the most comfortable fitting shoes you'll ever wear.
